The City of Lawton is partnering up with the Comanche County Health Department and the Potts Family Foundation to bring an opportunity for community members, educators, nonprofit organizations, and local partners to come together and discuss ways to better support Lawton's youth and families.
Community members, educators, nonprofit organizations, and local partners are encouraged to participate in the upcoming KidsFirst Action Forum on Monday, June 15, at the Lawton Farmers Market, located at 77 SW 4th Street.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. To 4 p.m. and is designed to bring the community together to discuss ways to better support Lawton's youth and families.
Organizers say the forum will focus on gathering community feedback, strengthening support systems for youth and families, and building a collaborative plan for the future.
Lunch will be provided for attendees, and pre-registration is encouraged.
