The singer and reality TV figure was hospitalized in Las Vegas with severe pneumonia and chest pains, and now says his heart is only functioning at about 25 percent — far below normal — even though he’s back home recovering. ••••••••••••• In an emotional video on Instagram, Ray J thanked fans for their prayers and support, saying he “almost died” and continues to focus on healing while leaning on loved ones.

 

According to CBS News, R. Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison in the New York case, where he was convicted of racketeering and s$x trafficking, and most of his 20-year sentence in the Chicago case is running concurrently to that prison term. All of his appeals have been denied so far.

He is currently serving his prison sentence at a medium-security federal correctional center in Butner, North Carolina, and is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2045 at nearly 79 years old.
